Also known as ‘Early Elberta,’ this peach is one of the first to fruit in the season, with world-famous juicy fruit known for its excellent look and taste.

This tree is the most disease-resistant available, and it is also insect-resistant – an excellent choice for organic growing. It is self-fertile, making it the best peach for gardeners with limited space.

Elberta peach is hardy down to -10°F (-23°C) and is a fast grower, allowing for the first harvest in the first year. This is one of the most popular peaches to grow – an heirloom variety from the 1870s that has stood the test of time.

All peach varieties are grafted on Bailey rootstock. Early spring freezes are often an issue for peaches. Bailey is a medium sized stock with high cold tolerance.
