Re-Rug

Composed of 50% virgin wool and 50% reused wool, Nanimarquina's innovative Re-Rug collection isthe result of the company's desire to limit the impact of their supply chain . The result was the Re-Rug -- each of whichuses 1kg/m2 of reprocessed wool, thus reducing waste andCO2 emissions.

The collection is made using the hand-loomed dhurrie technique, resulting in rugs with a flat structure formed from the cross between the warp and weft. The structural part of the rug (the warp) is made of New Zealand virgin wool dyed black and white, yellow or blue, green or tile. And in the weft, the marbled recycled yarn of varying thickness and color shines through. The result is an organic and understated rug which feels as good on your feet as it is for the planet.
